I am having a hard time believing this is my Dad!!!! But Dad, where are all your beads?!?! Just 1 . . . come on, flash those ''boobies''
This is a blog created and posted by Robyn to keep friends and family updated on the family. While the focus appears to be mostly on Jackson, there is no favorites in my life. I love all my family. It is just easier to get pictures of a young one.

Carnival in Mexico
So, while our parents are in Cozumel, Logan, Grant and I went to see the new movie "Madea Goes to Jail" then dinner at Bennigan's. The movie was good, both serious and hilarious. Everything with Madea is funny. The serious stuff was a bit intense, in a way. Grant would have preferred all Madea and Mr. Brown. We get out of the movie and it was raining, not sprinkles, raining! Definitely not Mexico. Here are the newest pictures from Mom. Wait 'til you see the last one . . .
stylin' and handsome couple!!!
"last night of Carnival (Mardi Grau) celebration. Many men were dressed up as women. Being Fat Tuesday before Lent, it's their last chance to be naughty. So this guy came up to your dad and they hugged and dad caressed his "boobies"

Jackson's newest trick
So, Jackson has started to spend like 10 minutes on his hand. But the question is . . . Will he be a thumb sucker (like his Mommy) or is he practicing for when he is a teenager, hanging out with his idiot friends and someone bets he can't put his whole hand in his mouth!?!?!?!? We will have to wait and see.

COZUMEL, MEXICO
For those of you who don't know, my parents go to Mexico every February, courtesty of Johnston (Dad's supplier for his Heating and Cooling company). In the past Dad would earn enough through his sales to get the whole trip free. With the economy as it is today, they have to pay out of pocket for part of it. This year though Steve and Sue joined them (I am going next year). Mom sent an email . . .
"The Cozumel Palace Resort is just heavenly!!!!!!!!!!! It's by far the most eligant of all the resorts we have stayed in. It is much smaller and all the staff is so personable and friendly."
This is their room! Let's hope they don't enjoy the liquer cabinet too much with that 2-person jacuzzi tub right in the room! Wouldn't want someone to trip. . .
"The amenities are extraordinary,,,,fresh fruit, bottles of wine, loaded drink refrigerator, and liquer cabinet. All marble floors and the bathroom is gorgeous. Huge walk in shower and the jacuzie 2-person spa tub has super jets, etc."
Mom and Dad enjoying their first day - "We had dinner outside right in front of the entertainment. Beautiful buffet with wonderful foods. I'll be going to the gym (2nd floor) early in the morning. Some of the tours we are considering are Swimming with the Dolphins, jeep ride around the island with a beach and snorkel stop, and glass bottom boat ride. The resort offers 3 tours free!!!! "

Grant update
Saturday, Feb 7th, Grant went to WMU for some pitching/catching thing. Apparently the coach there was impressed. He asked Grant and Steve what year he was and what school he plays for. He is going to scout him during some games!!!!

From Jackson
Sunday 2/8/09: Today I am 5 weeks old and Mom went back to work. To make it easier, Mom and I spent saturday night at Aunt Robyn's. Mom started to feed me in the morning but had to go so Aunt Robyn held me while I finished the bottle. Then I returned the favor by giving Aunt Robyn a dirty diaper to change (but not as bad as yesterday :) ). After that I just chilled in my little portable swing then fell asleep. Well, I learned later that while I was sleeping, Aunt Robyn went outside to work on the ice in the driveway. But wait, she checked in on my every 10-15 minutes. I started fussing so she put my out on the couch with more room to stretch . . . that's when she took this picture with her phone. Once I woke up (after a 3 hour nap) I ate again then we went to see Mom at work. She was missing me . . . of course - how could she not? To help her not miss me so much I spat up on her a bit :) When she changed me she was impressed that Aunt Robyn did a good job with my diaper!! I don't know why, even though Aunt Robyn doesn't have any children of her own she watched my cousins like every other weekend, partly raised my mom and has a lot of friends with children. Anyway, we then stopped to visit grandma so she wouldn't have any Jackson withdrawal. Got back to Aunt Robyn's and was both hungry and tired and didn't know what to do. Passed out after less than 1/2 ounce. Up again after 20 minutes and finished the bottle then back to sleep. People don't believe Mom when she tells them I am a good baby, now Aunt Robyn can vouch for her!!! I'm not sure how long I am going to stay that way though ;-)
