"Oooo, what you got?"

"give me a few months and I will be riding this elephant"

"which of these do you think Aunt Robyn will favor?"

Logan's surgery

Logan had Labrum repair surgery Friday morning. This is a cartilage of his right shoulder that had a tear. This tear is what prevented Logan from pitching and playing 1st base his senior year. He was still able to hit though and had a home run (of course this home run was at the second game of the double hitter for which mom and I had left after the first game). Doctor reported all went well during the repair and expects a favorable recovery. Now Logan gets to take his last test using his left hand . . . bet he wishes he had listened to his Aunt Robyn years ago when I told him (and his brother) to practice using his left hand because you never know, one day you might not be able to use your right. Hindsight is 20/20.

Spring Training - Florida

So, I was able to take the media card from Sue's camera to get these pictures from spring training for high school baseball The boys have to wear suits for the plane trip to and from Florida. In a previous post I shared how Grant needed a new suit and the tailor had to take his in (way in) for Steve. Yes, Steve gets his sons' hand-me-downs.
"Grant, will you just pitch so someone will hit it out here?!"

Jackson with first food

On May 5th, Jackson had his first "bite" of rice cereal . . . yet it didn't stop him from putting his favorite thing in his mouth! Maybe he thought Mom missed some and pushed it back into his mouth . . .
And he is such a happy baby
May 08 Jackson in his new-used activity seat. He loves it! His feet reaches the peddles on the bottom . . . flat footed too.
After playing in the activity seat, he had his first "bite" of green beans. I was the lucky one to give him this as Mom was at work. He didn't react much to the actual food in his mouth but then if I said something he would laugh and try to do his new trilling of the tongue to "talk" and almost sprayed me! Today when we did it, he got some up on his forehead!
